Personal · 2025 to now · AI agent, designed and coded solo
bre.ai,
a personal AI I
designed and built
One system that reasons across my whole life, seventeen years of it, and shows its work before it asks me to believe it.
Designed and coded solo · 21 tools it can act with · 17 years of journals
At a glance
- My role
- Sole designer and builder. I made every design call and directed the coding agents that wrote most of the code.
- Scope
- One app with about thirty small apps inside, an agent that acts through 21 tools on an MCP server I built, and about seventeen overnight jobs.
- How it behaves
- Small things in my own day, it just does, with an undo. Bigger things, it proposes and waits. Anything that reaches another person, it never sends.
- How it is tested
- Every night a question set runs on my real data and checks each answer for made up numbers and banned phrases. Almost a hundred of my ratings have become rules it reads each morning.
- When and how
- 2025 to now. Gemini underneath with a scripted fallback, and the journals never leave my Mac.
- The one thing
- I designed the trust system for an agent that acts on one person’s life: what it does alone, what it proposes, what it never touches, and how every action comes undone.
